Ingredients
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/2 pound ochro
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix corn meal and about 1/2 teaspoon salt on a plate and beat the egg in
a separate
bowl.
- Dip the ochro in the egg then coat with corn meal.
- Heat the oil in a skillet and cook the ochro until it is brown an all
sides. Use medium heat.
- Set the ochro on paper towels to drain the excess oil. Sprinkle with salt
to taste.
