Cheese Spinach Pie PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • 9 Inch pie shell
  • 1/3 Cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/4 lbs sliced cheese
  • 1 Cup cooked, chopped spinach(drained)
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 1/2 Tsp. salt
  • Dash pepper

Directions

  1. Cook onion in margarine until tender; cool.
  2. Lay slices of cheese over pie shell, follow with spinach, then onions.
  3. Beat the eggs, add the milk to the batter.
  4. Add seasonings and pour the mixture over the ingredients layered in the pie shell. Bake in 400° oven about 35 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
