Carrot Cake PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots grated
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp clove powder
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp pimento
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F. and grease 10 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients and sift.
  3. Beat eggs, add oil, then add to dry mixture.
  4. Mix well, pour in baking pan and bake for about 1 hour .
