|US Virgin Islands Flag|
The US Virgin Islands flag was adopted in 1921. It consists of a simplified version of the Great Seal of the United States between the letters V and I with an eagle holding a laurel branch in one talon.
The three arrows in the other talon represent the three major islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. the yellow in the U.S. Virgin Islands flag represents the flowers, green symbolizes the hills, white represents the clouds, and blue is for the ocean.
