|St Lucia Flag|
The St. Lucia flag was adopted on March 1, 1967. The current design is blue with a gold triangle below a black arrowhead. The upper edges of the arrowhead have a white border.
The blue color stands for the sky and ocean that surround the island. Gold represents sunshine and prosperity while the black and white symbolize racial harmony. The triangle represents the Piton mountains, the island's two majestic peaks that tower over 2000 feet.
