Atlanta Carnival Print E-mail

A major theme of the Atlanta Carnival are the street parades in costumes, masks and an array of colours. This is an African tradition which has stood the test of time. Natural objects such as stones and bones are also used as part of the decorations, in keeping with traditional Atlanta Carnival methods. There are still many traditional consumes, colours and dances associated with the Atlanta Carnival as well as the all- important Afro-Caribbean music styles.
