In 2001 Caribbean residents of New Orleans organized themselves and created Friends of Culture. This registered non-profit was created to strengthen the cultural bonds amongst the Caribbean community in New Orleans and to share the rich Caribbean culture with the residents and visitors of New Orleans.

Bayou Bachannal will take place November 3 & 4th 2012 at:

The festival kicks off with a parade from Harrahs Casino and ends at Lafayette Square to start the festival.
